William KJ Lava Glaze Raku Art Pottery Vase /ah

This William KJ signed Raku Lava Glaze pottery vase is one of a kind. This piece combines lava glazing, a unique Vietnamese glazing style that produces unique colors and textures,  with the Raku firing method, Japanese hand modeled pottery fired at extremely low temperatures and rapidly cooled, to create a beautiful dragon egg design and texture. The Raku firing method is very hard to complete as it has a high breakage rate, making this vase even more special.  There is one small chip (pictured) that was found, but otherwise this piece is in excellent condition.  Measures H 7” x W 6 1/2” x D 2 1/2”  Please review all photos carefully.  Estate item.
