Ferdinando Principiano is a natural and traditional Barolo producer whose cantina is in Monforte and vineyards straddle Monforte and Serralunga. Farming is practicing organic, with his vineyards teeming with wildflowers, insects, and other wildlife. All fermentations are indigenous. Principiano's Langhe Bianco is 100% Timorasso (Piemonte's greatest white variety), grown in the Alta Langa at 750m of altitude. It is mineral, taut, and complex.
