Double Glass Framed Morpho Sulkowskyi Butterfly

If you’re looking for a holographic butterfly that constantly shifts between brilliant blues and soft whites, the Morpho sulkowskyi is the one for you. It’s hard to explain how extraordinary the light show on its wings is without seeing it in person (although we did try with these photos). The shimmering effect comes from microscopic structures on the wing scales that reflect and refract light, not just pigment. These tiny layers create an iridescent glow that changes with the angle of the light, producing beautiful silver-white and shimmering blue hues. It’s a pretty rare butterfly too, coming all the way from the Andes cloud forests. It looks delicate but is actually pretty tough, living in some of the coolest and most challenging spots on Earth. Overall, this is a must have for any butterfly collector or just a splash of “wow, where did you get that?” for any home.
