This is a hybrid lubricant. That means it contains silicone and water based ingredients. This isn't the most natural of lubes - but there is something pretty neat about it - its incredibly thick. This means its great for anal play because it provides a little more cushion. It is also a soothing friend when your vaginal walls begin to thin (this could be for a variety of reasons - such as natural aging, chemo etc.) Because this lubricant has some silicone in it,  it's super long lasting. It stays slippery for a long time, never becomes sticky and doesn't soak in quickly. Since there is silicone in this lubricant I wouldn't recommend using it with a silicone toy.
