Champagne Piollot "Come des Tallants" Blanc de Noirs, Zéro Dosage '18

Champagne Piollot is produced by the power couple Roland Piollot and his wife Dominique Moreau (winemaker of Marie-Courtin Champagne). The vines come from Roland's family, five generations worth of vinegrowing, and can be found in the southernmost portion of Champagne in the Aube, primarily in the town of Polisot out of the Côtes des Bar subregion. Underdog regions like the Aube are getting their deserved share of praise and we couldn't be more on board in supporting incredible winemakers like Roland and Dominique. Given Piollot's southern proximity, close to Chablis, the soils have great amounts of Kimmeridgean limestone. Taking into consideration climate differences in the Aube versus northern sites like Reims and Epernay, Piollot are firm believers in zero-dosage for all of their wines.
