Paolo Scavino Langhe Nebbiolo '22

Founded in 1921 by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo in Castiglione Falletto, the Paolo Scavino winery has always lived up to certain traditions: passion for the land and the wines that can express it. Since he started working at his family's winery in 1951 (at age 10!), Enrico Scavino has carried on the tradition of intensely terroir-driven wines. He now works with his two daughters, Elisa and Enrica (fourth generation), and their wines are well regarded for their purity and elegance. Scavino shows consistently that their attention to detail and precision is applied to not only their Barolo wines but all their wines. Scavino is still a small family farm, now managing 30 hectares of vines, exclusively within 8 of the 11 communes of the Barolo appellation: Castiglione Falletto, Barolo, La Morra, Novello, Serralunga d’Alba, Verduno, Roddi and  Monforte d’Alba.
