Navajo artist Calvin Desson made this spectacular bolo tie. He has filled a big oval design with a spectacular stone creation. This style of blanket is called a Chief Blanket and was a popular trade item with other tribes. I often wonder if those lines are inspired by the Dutch Trading Company blanket. The image is of a Navajo warrior wrapped in the blanket with the famous mesas of the Four Corners in the background. If you are into Native American history and art I can't imagine a more appealing piece of handmade art. This will show your admiration and appreciation of Native America. Bolo Cord – 44’ Bolo – 3 3/4" x 2 1/2” Weight – 118.3 grams
