If you are familiar with Navajo rugs, especially the popular Storm Pattern, you will have seen those fascinating water bugs. Navajo silversmith Calvin Martinez captures that look in this silver and stone ring. It is amazing what he is capable of doing with silver and remember this is not a tufa carved piece. Right in the center he places a piece of Kingman Turquoise that shows off light and dark blues. Calvin uses a rustic brush finish that creates that wonderful old style look.
