Title of Piece Untitled Dimensions 11 x 4  Materials Paper mulberry bark, wisteria, stoneware bottle Description Woven traveler's decanter Process or Concept  I've woven both peeled and non peeled wisteria runners, with strips of paper mulberry bark, onto the surface of a stoneware bottle. This piece can hang with the use of its cord, which is made of peeled wisteria bark. My inspiration for this piece is the sea voyages and trade caravans of long ago. This is how I imagine an adventurer may have carried with them, their favorite beverage to celebrate the end of a long journey. This piece was woven with invasive species, harvested and processed by hand.
