Fluorite Cubic Cluster, Yaogangxian Mine, China—FLUO10

This is a miniature, sculptural blue and purple fluorite cluster from Yaogangxian mine, China. It is a small but beautiful specimen with translucent gemmy edges, geometric and lustrous faces. There are some accenting crystals on the sides of the cubes on the reverse side. The pale blue shades and deep purple interior of the cubes are aesthetic and high quality—these cubes display excellent clarity and light reflection, which are most transparent when backlit. Some of the cubes do have minor damage, but overall the cluster has a clean appearance. The cluster is mounted on a small acrylic plate for display. This is an attractive miniature specimen from a well-known Chinese locality--it would offer a lot of beauty to any specimen collection!
