This specimen is a beautiful example of crystal structure! This is a cluster of curved yellow calcite prismatic crystals on a mixed matrix. The calcite is a pale yellow shade, and displays good clarity and luster. The curved terminations on the crystals are attractive! The crystals lay on one side of the cluster, although it could stand upright with the right stand (contact me for options). This particular crystal also features a partial marcasite phantom growth and tiny dolomite rhomb accents, an iconic combo for crystals from this area. There are some imperfections and areas of light damage, but overall an aesthetic and affordable specimen. The cluster is attached to a matrix of metallic and other misc crystals, and is ready for display.
