Natural Citrine Golden Goethite Inclusions Unheated Cluster, Morocco—CMIX7

This small yet potent little piece is a natural cluster of Citrine crystals, the golden yellow member of the Quartz family. It is natural citrine (NOT heated amethyst) from a recent find in Morocco. Though at first glance it superficially resembles the more common heated material from Brazil or Uruguay, this all-natural beauty will amaze and impress when you see it in person. This small, unheated and untreated specimen is in a beautiful curved crystalline shape, with surprisingly sharp and well-formed crystals silhouetted against raw matrix. A closer look reveals golden needle-like inclusions of Goethite (a form of iron oxide). The cluster features lovely deep yellow and slightly smoky color, with good interior clarity and rough matrix rock. Some points may be partially formed or display some damage at tips, but overall condition is nice, especially for just an unusual organic specimen.
