This cluster is very small and aesthetically arranged, with the glittery crystals wrapping around all sides—it is featured in a perky box with locality info. This is a special and unusual miniature cluster, and would make an excellent addition to any specimen or jewelry supply collection! Uvarovite is a rare member of the Garnet group, and is a rich and unusual variety of emerald green gem. It is the only true Chromium garnet. (That is, the only garnet variety which incorporates chromium into its specific chemical formula--however, other garnets may exhibit chromium impurities.)
