  This is the Phono-Graphix way to introduce the sound-picture nature of our written code, to build the critical skill of segmentation and to build initial code knowledge with very young students and students with learning challenges. This kit includes sixteen highly recognizable photographs of everyday items used by young children. Each photocard has the word on the face of it, phonographically coded and in large bold font. Each card comes with the corresponding sound cards for teaching the phoneme and code for that sound in rapid progression within the context of real word identification. Words are chosen based on developmental speech patterns. This set includes cvc, vcvc, and cvcv words.
