The Crescent Filbert is a must-have brush due to the range of techniques for its use.  Because it contains both golden taklon and white synthetic bristle filaments the paint distributes through the bristles, if desired, or sits on top of them. Use the Crescent to dry-brush or stipple. You can create fur, foliage, trees, bushes, clouds, or flowers due to the characteristics of this brush.  They have just the right softness for dry-brush and mop applications. Stipple or dry brush with ease using this Crescent Filbert. The Crescent Filbert has a blend of white synthetic bristles that are quite stiff.   They are used for soft, fluffy fur and feathers as well as foliage and blending.  The unique arc shape and combination taklon and synthetic bristles make them great for fabric painting, acrylics, oils, and gouaches.
