ATS TCM Upgrade, A40 / A50 to T87A, 2011-2014 GM 6.6L Duramax
**ATS TCM Upgrade for GM 6.6L Duramax (2011-Early 2015)** The Allison 6-speed automatic transmission used in GM 6.6L Duramax trucks from 2011 to early 2015 is susceptible to failure due to the A40 and A50 TCM. These TCM modules contain delicate thin wires that can short out over time. In 2022, Allison discontinued support for the A50 and A40 TCM, leaving over 10,000 Duramax owners without reliable transmission control. To address this issue, ATS developed a solution utilizing our Translator technology from the ATS Allison Conversion. This technology enables these trucks to operate with enhanced shifting and power control. The A50 and A40 TCM have been used in all GM Duramax/Allison Diesel Trucks manufactured between 2006 and 2017. ATS is pleased to introduce the new GM Allison T87A upgraded TCM module. This upgraded module includes our Translator module, which incorporates our Co-Pilot transmission functions. **Key Features:** * Compatible with both stock and modified trucks.
