Ajuga Reptans Catlin's Giant Known as Catlin's Giant Bugleweed has glossy, bronze purple/near black, crisp foliage. Catlin's Giant spreads by stolons with vigor. Deep Blue, 4"-6" tall flower spikes shoot up putting on a brilliant show in Spring. Plants can be mowed on high to remove spent flowers and to cut back foliage if needs renewing. Ajuga thrives in humus soil and will grow fine in average, well drained soil. Will tolerate occasional dry soil but prefers regular watering. Sun to Shade.
