Neoalsomitra Sarcophylla

Look no further than Neoalsomitra sarcophylla, a caudex-forming, perennial trailing succulent for a stunning and unique addition to your plant collection. The name of this genus comes from the Greek words "new" (Neos) and "alsomitra," another genus in the family Cucurbitaceae. The species sarcophylla name is referred to as "flesh leaf."  Without enough sunlight, Neoalsomitra sarcophylla may struggle to thrive and drop its leaves. To maximize the possibility of growth, place it indoors less than three feet away from a south-facing window and outdoors in the USDA zone 10-12.
