Brunnera macrophylla Langtrees

One of the most prized of woodland plants is the speckled selection of brunnera, B. 'Langtrees'. This is not a plant for the South, but it is one fantastic performer in the northern states...especially in moist rich soils. Each fuzzy heart-shaped leaf is speckled with dramatic silver blotches, and is topped in spring by dainty sprays of small pure blue flowers...a great addition to the woodland garden.
