
Waiting and Patience Social Skills Story
This printable social skills story goes through the feelings and skills associated with waiting and patience for young children. It is great for young children that need to learn about how to work on patience or children that have an event coming up where they may need to wait (vacation, school, appointment, new baby etc.) This story talks about how you might feel when you have to wait, what patience is, why you might have to wait and what you can do while you are waiting. This story has short simple sentences and pictures so that children can explore the concept of patience and learn about skills to use while waiting. There is simple prep to print on letter sized paper, cut the pages in 1/2 and bind your story with staples or binder rings.
