The SPC411 intermediate piccolo features a Grenadite™ headjoint and body. Grenadite is a proprietary blend of 6 different materials, with the largest percentage being Grenadilla wood, providing greater depth, richness, and variety to the tonal spectrum than standard ABS resin. It is also more sturdy, durable, and stable against variation in atmospheric extremes such as temperature and humidity than 100% Grenadilla wood. The SPC411 headjoint is hand-cut and built to respond effortlessly, providing easy first tones that are warm, expressive, and even throughout all registers. The silver-plated keywork is hand-assembled to the same specifications as our profession
