Les Clefs du Caladas Côtes du Rhône

This Demeter certified biodynamic and certified organic Cotes du Rhone bottling is made by the Chateauneuf-du-Pape producer Chateau Simian from fruit grown in the village of Piolenc, just north of Orange in France's Southern Rhone. Lacy, ethereal and crystalline in style, this is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvedre that is light-bodied in texture, but very intense in flavor. Fermented with wild yeasts and brought up in cement, this shows vivid black currant, blackberry and mulberry fruit on a racy acidic frame.
