Victorian Gold in Quartz Drop Earrings

A very cool pair of Victorian-era drop earrings, modeled in 14k rose gold, whose drops are petite, circular, gold-in-quartz slabs, set in low-profile, closed-back bezels. These little circles have an icy grey/white field, with beautiful marbled figuring, across which dramatic, vibrant-yellow splashes of native gold are dispersed. These charming gold-in-quartz specimens hang from locking, kidney-shaped earwires. This style of earwire is a shop favorite— the drops are held in perfect position (on the earwire) by sets of tiny gold rings that function like washers.
