Victorian Gold in Quartz Drop Earrings
A very cool pair of Victorian-era drop earrings, modeled in 14k rose gold, whose drops are petite, circular, gold-in-quartz slabs, set in low-profile, closed-back bezels. These little circles have an icy grey/white field, with beautiful marbled figuring, across which dramatic, vibrant-yellow splashes of native gold are dispersed. These charming gold-in-quartz specimens hang from locking, kidney-shaped earwires. This style of earwire is a shop favorite— the drops are held in perfect position (on the earwire) by sets of tiny gold rings that function like washers. The drops swing cheerfully from side to side, but they never slip out of position, and the locking wires are especially secure. These are elegant, lightweight, and ideal for frequent wear!
