Upcycled Fabric Pouches by Sew Minimal*

These fun fabric pouches are made entirely with up-cycled textiles! Handmade by southwest artist Sew Minimal each one is a unique mix of reclaimed and thrifted fabrics, with an added zipper closure for convenience. Pouches measure approx. 5 x 7.5 inches. Albuquerque artist Kelly Colleen founded Sew Minimal in 2019, after falling in love with upcycling when using a thrifted curtain to create a dress for a friend's wedding. Kelly inherited a lifelong love of sewing from her mother and grandmother, but purchasing new textiles from big stores was often out of reach - not to mention the environmental impact of their production. So, Kelly uses exclusively reclaimed or thrifted fabrics, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that are sustainable both economically and environmentally.
