
Matched Receiver & Bolt Body - Standard Action - 1955 - With Griffin & Howe Scope Mount
This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1955 standard rifle with a Griffin & Howes scope mount system with 1" rings installed. This system allows for the quick removal and reinstallation of a scope without the loss of zero. This mount is all steel (some G&H mounts had some aluminum pieces) and has a windage adjustment built into the rear ring mount. The windage adjustment was an early feature, specially designed for some early scopes that were only adjustable for elevation. Overall, this set is in very good condition. Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition. The bluing is original, with some light edge and rail wear. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage.
