Semilabeo is a genus of cyprinid fishes found in rivers and streams in China and Vietnam. There are currently two recognized species in this genus. It has an elongated long body, shark like dorsal fin, with a mouth like a catfish. They can tolerate a wide range of temperatures, from cold outdoor ponds to indoor tropical aquariums.
