Blackened X Rabbit Hole Whiskey

The Blackened x Rabbit Hole Whiskey is the latest release from Blackened's Masters of Whiskey Series for 2023. This collaboration brings together Rob Dietrich, Blackened's master distiller, and Kaveh Zamanian, the founder of Rabbit Hole Distillery, to create a unique expression blending 13-year-old Tennessee bourbon and Rabbit Hole’s Heigold High Rye Double Malt Kentucky bourbon. The blend is then finished in Calvados casks, a type of French apple brandy barrel, which imparts a distinct layer of fruitiness and complexity to the whiskey. This limited edition whiskey is bottled at 106.59 proof (53.3% ABV) and non-chill filtered, offering a rich and full-bodied experience. The Black Noise sonic enhancement process—where low-frequency sound waves vibrate the barrels—further enhances the interaction between the whiskey and the oak casks.
