Seller: princetonaudubonprints Please note that this is a limited edition print given by Chagall to his friend Martin Riskin, who in turn provided it to the late Sy Kessler, an autograph dealer, from whom my client purchased it. Please note that this is an original offest lithograph as indicated in one of the pictures provided, but that Chagall hand signed the print. A provided picture under 10x magnification shows the signature to be authentic. The artwork in the image is titled "Prophet Isaiah" or "Isaiah," created by Marc Chagall.  Artist and Era: Marc Chagall (1887–1985) was a Russian-French modernist artist known for his unique blend of symbolic, dreamlike imagery and vibrant colors, often associated with movements like Naïve Art (Primitivism) and Surrealism.  Subject Matter: The painting depicts the Prophet Isaiah, a central figure in the artwork, holding a scroll representing prophetic messages. An ethereal being with wings, possibly conveying divine inspiration, is shown
