Use it as a toolkit to design pulses, subs, punches and beyond.To capture these sounds, sound designer and recordist Martin Pinsonnault (Big Little Lies, Dallas Buyers Club) and the team at Sonomar amassed a collection of magnets - ranging from small watch batteries to large speaker magnets and a variety of metal objects. Using MKH-8040 microphones in an XY setup, Sonomar recorded numerous vibrations, collisions and resonances resulting from a wide range of magnetic intensity.
