We all know that these Miatas will find their way to track, so Mishimoto developed a direct-fit Miata oil cooler kit to keep oil temperatures in check. The ND2 Miata received numerous improvements during its transition from the ND1, including a nice bump in top-end power. Another addition to the ND2 was a liquid-to-liquid oil cooler/warmer. A commonplace component, this unit uses engine coolant to warm up oil during cold starts and keep it cool during aggressive driving.
