Around that timeframe Aurora was also perfecting this beautiful painting process on other bodies like the Ford GT and XKE Jaguar in red, green, and blue.It is believed that a very limited quantity of candy blue Mustangs were run during that process. Today, these cars are highly sought after and command extraordinarily high prices among collectors.Almost 60 years later, as an homage to this rare car, AFX has replicated the candy blue Mustang GT in a special Limited Edition of 3,000.
