In 1975, the club assembled a first season unlike anything one could have predicted. The spirit of that ‘75 season and city’s passion for the Green & Gold has endured for decades.   Centered around the Timbers crest, tree rings – as seen in the crosscut of the iconic log slab – adorn the front of the jersey. The texture features 50 rings, serving as a timeline of Soccer City USA.   The jocktag pays homage to the first season in 1975. On the back of the neck, a stylized “50” houses the Portland flag as a tribute to the city’s unrivaled support.   The Forever Green & Gold kit charts a course through the Timbers’ 50-year history – the stories, the legends, the traditions – and invites supporters to join in the celebration and help make new memories as the club continues to writ
