The chain itself is finished steel and 15" long, but is adjustable to shorter lengths. To adjust the length, remove the set-screw in the mounting base & cut the chain to the desired length. Secure your in-swing transom windows with this useful piece of hardware while adding a nice-looking touch to your windows. The finish on this item is lacquered and will not patina.
