Join us for "Cut & Paste", a collage workshop by Seattle artist and designer Gabriel Stromberg. Materials included, bring your own scissors and any additional collage material you'd like to use. From Gabriel: "Collage presents a way to engage in a creative process without the pressures of expectations or the confinements of a desired outcome. Through the medium of collage, there is an opportunity to experiment and explore in ways that are more open-ended than in other creative practices. It is easy to break away from structure and rules. You can be careless, ridiculous, unaccountable, or absurd. Working in this unrestrained manner has made me a better artist and designer. It has sharpened my creative instincts and strengthened my ability to identify unexpected possibilities."
