This is a vivid print of various types of small birds including black and white warbler, water-thrush, oven-bird, worm-eating warbler, prothonotary warbler, and louisiana water-thrush. The illustration was done by famed ornithologist and artist Louis Agassiz Fuertes (1874-1927). It ships in a protective sleeve with acid free backing board. Dimensions: 12 inches tall and 9 inches wide.Condition: The layers of color appear to have misaligned when making this print, leading it to have a blurry, almost dancing quality. The image is not as crisp as other prints in this series. This is an original antique print — NOT a reproduction or contemporary printing of an antique original. This art print was originally released in 1915 as part of a collection published by The University of the State of New York State Museum. Due to the popularity of the series, the collection was reprinted a few times between 1915 and 1930, each set compiled in a dated folio.Below is the description of the collection
