Forest Enchantment

12.5 x 11.5" / Fused Glass / Forest Enchantment's inspiration was an early spring morning with a heavily frozen due glistening in the early light with spring greens in the tree tops and forest floor with hints of purple lavender as accents. The tree trunks and branches are rich browns, tans and mellow creams giving the viewer a special glimpse and feeling of a captured moment in time. The fused glass piece has clear crushed glass particles added to the design and kiln fired at high temperatures to obtain the textures and fire polish that you see in this work.
