The 5804 acts as three centrifuges in one: a high capacity general purpose centrifuge for cell harvesting; a high-speed centrifuge for separating cell lysates; and a micro centrifuge for DNA precipitations. The centrifuge enables interchangeable swing-bucket and high speed fixed-angle rotors with automatic rotor recognition, which senses rotor type to set maximum allowable speed. The 5804 offers a speed range up to 14,000 RPM.This centrifuge includes the A-2-DWP Microplate Rotor, which can accommodate up to 2 x 5 MTP, 2 x 4 Cell Culture, 2 x 2 Deepwell, or 2 x 1 Filtration Plate Kits. This rotor reaches a maximum speed of 3,700 RPM.
