Asei Island, one of 21 islands around Sentani Lake, is famous for its craft bark. Rare Tapa Art (Kapa) Loin Cloth from Lake Sentani, Irian Jaya. Bark Cloth Hand painted with Natural Pigments by Tribal Artist from Papua New Guinea. Abstract Geometric Motifs of Stylized warriors with weapons riding towards the enemy on a canoe that morphs into a snake, crocodiles, geckos and wave motifs. Created by a spectacular and reknown artist from Asei. These Stylized Designs Have Spiritual Meaning.  SIZE: 28" x 18" or more, I could not find my measurements so had to improvise checking the ruler seen on one of the photos and estimating the full size.
