Antique Meriden Pedestal

Here is something that is so special it just reminds me why I love antique silver so much! This is a little antique pedestal dish with a child around the base. It was made in the late 1800’s by the famous Meriden Silver Plate Co. and is extra special because it is quadroupleplate - coated in 4 coats of sterling silver!  There is some wear to the silverplate on the base that you can see in the photos. This is 7.5" tall.
