AI (or AM) infects your Geocity by Mystery Kitten Co

Inspired by the book “I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream” by Harlan Ellison, this incorporates the early fear of AI taking over our videos of keyboard cat on old cubes we called a computer back then. It also shows how far we came with technology too, as the fear still stands as AI is being incorporated more and more into modern technology and art, making the story Ellison portrays as early as 1967, way more real. I went to school to be a web designer, and working with AI is becoming inevitable, but we need to always remember to support our local artists and that artists can still have fun with technology in their crafts despite the changing world. Technology that gave me access to YouTube videos and tv shows really started my career, exposing me to video games, fandom culture and so on. As we look back with fondness, we cannot ignore the future. We are artists and it is best to be aware and adapt. It is our greatest skill as a group, and AI cannot match to real artists just yet.
