Those we welcome into our homes, we wish to bless, and also to bless their travels when they leave. This painting raises those transitions through the portals of our doorways…in the feminine, rather than the familiar masculine of the very gendered Hebrew language. This painting was commissioned for a wedding gift for a Lesbian couple, but is suitable for any doorway.
