D0054 - Intarsia Cabochon, Turquoise & Lapis, 34 x 29 mm, 15.0g

This freeform shaped Intarsia is made from Turquoise bookended with stabilized blue Lapis Lazuli. Between the stones is a layer of Argentium Silver.  The piece is backed with a thin slab of Jade to provide strength. About the Turquoise: It measures 5.5 mhos. I did not stabilize this, but I have no idea if it was stabilized. It was obtained from old inventory from Marla's mother. A hot pin does not burn it and it is turquoise color all the way through the stone (not dyed). As far as I can tell, it is real turquoise. Beautiful color with light gray matrix. Made in the USA.
