E0011 - Argentium Silver Pendant with Snowflake Obsidian
The pendant is made of Argentium Silver, From our stock of cabochons, we selected a 25 x 18 mm oval Snowflake Obsidian to set in this pendant. Snowflake obsidian is a volcanic glass that has gray to white patterns that resemble snowflakes present on a black background. The components (bezel, jump ring and bail) were purchased from our US supplier of Argentium who claims they are 93.5% pure silver. The pieces are marked AS925 and we can guess that the AS stands for Argentium Silver, but then that is just a guess and we wait for the supplier's explanation for why they chose not to hallmark the items 935.
