Gram’s Snickerdoodle Cookie

Cinnamon and sugar, with the slightly tangy twist, layered throughout our soft-baked cookie. Why Gram’s Snickerdoodle? Snickerdoodles are my favorite cookie to bake with my Gram. Growing up, we regularly baked these together, and I had the (very important) job of shaping the small dough balls with a spoon and rolling them through a bowl of cinnamon sugar. In some ways, this cookie is synonymous with Gram herself: she’s warm and pure, sweet and memorable, but she’s also a little sassy. I wouldn’t be here baking really good cookies if it weren’t for Gram and her Snickerdoodles, so I guess you could say she’s the one who got this all started.
