This tile is a little bit different... the bottom inch broke off while I was pealing the plaster from the clay. Just to see if it would work, I glued it back together. It stayed secure, but the fracture was still visible, so I added a few ribbons, planning to just keep it for myself. I really like the way it turned out and I thought you might as well. The price reflects the fracture, but I can assure you that it is secure.These botanical plaster cast pieces, or bas-relief tiles are handmade by me. The process begins by arranging the florals in clay, building walls around the piece, and pouring plaster into the mold. I let the plaster set for 24 hours on the clay and an additional 48 to 72 hours once pulled from the clay, depending on the thickness of the pour.
