Sparkling Rose' of Primitivo is limited to only 56 cases produced, farmed with regenerative agriculture locally, and bottled by Fresco Wines in Sonoma, California. Wine Style: Sparkling Wine Grapes: Primitivo Body: Medium Sweetness: dry Alcohol: 12.7% Winemaking: 50% Foot trod + 1-hour maceration, then whole-cluster pressed. Tank fermented, chilled, and bottled before finishing Unfiltered. 0.75 lt. Benguerel Family Vineyard, farmed by Ross Cannard, on Los Robles series (gravelly clay loam) in Kenwood, Sonoma Valley. The vineyard is own-rooted and dry-farmed without tillage and ZER0 spray passes. It was handpicked on 9/7/20, 50% foot trod, and allowed to macerate for 1 hour, then the whole cluster was pressed. Tank fermented, chilled, and bottled before finishing. Undisgorged and slightly sweet. No cold stabilization or filtration, so some sediment and tartrates will be present in the bottom of the bottle.
