Snail, Astrea (turbo) - Lithopoma americanum - 12 and 100 Lots

Astrea Snails, sometimes called Turbo Snails are likely the most popular of all of the algae control animals.  These herbivores are an important addition for controlling algae within a Reef Aquarium.  Although found from wide variety of habitat including turtle grass (Thalassia testudinum) and coral rubble, we only collect these from areas that seem to be most conducive for aquarium life.  Size varies from 3/4 to 1 inch in height.
