UVB is an essential wavelength naturally found in sunlight, and is beneficial for most — if not all — reptiles. UVB is critical to helping your pet’s bones stay healthy and strong, and plays a role in a variety of other essential functions. The Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent is a UVB bulb with 10% UVB output and 30% UVA output to stimulate natural reptile behaviors and promote better health. This bulb can be conveniently installed into a standard threaded socket, and is small enough to be used with particularly small terrariums. Instructions for Use: Install the Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent in a Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hood and place over the basking area. This bulb tends to perform best with small arboreal (tall) terrariums at or less than 18" tall, or small terrestrial (wide) terrariums at or less than 20" long.
