This product ships within 7 to 10 business days On the morning of June 19, 1865, General Gordon Granger arrived on the shore of Galveston, Texas to lead the call for freedom of all slaves in the state. By this point, slavery had been declared illegal across the United States for almost 2 years. Texas slave owners had managed to keep their slaves in slavery due to a lack of union troops present in the state. However, that all changed on the day we now know as Juneteenth when the slaves in Texas were finally given their freedom. This tee shirt was created to celebrate that freedom and the joy that was felt throughout the country when the news of emancipation.  Modern unisex fitted crewneck shirt with a contoured side seams. Made with pre-shrunk 100% combed ring-spun cotton with 4.2oz and super soft 30 singles baby jersey knit. Fit is true to size.
