HO Brass Cascade Models UP - Union Pacific Boiler/Baggage/Dorm #300-304

Cascade Models model built by Kumata in Japan. Box shows minimal shelf wear. No spare parts included. Car is still in service as the "Howard Fogg" but has been converted to a HEP generator car. A unique 3-axle and 2-axle truck combination which is prototypical. The three-axle truck was necessary for support of the heavy steam generator. Union Pacific converted five baggage-dormitory cars into these boiler cars in the 60's to aid in heating the longer "Cities" trains.
